Our volunteers support everything from event planning and community engagement to content creation and project coordination. Since launching the Young Mobility Network as a startup in summer 2024, we’ve grown rapidly - and we need passionate, skilled people to help us take it to the next level. From launching the YMN Academy to shaping new event formats, there’s so much happening, and even more to create.

  • Passionate about connecting people and shaping careers? This could be your chance!

    Earlier this year, we ran our first YMN Mentoring Programme pilot — and it was a hit! Six mentor–mentee pairs came together, building stronger connections and sharing knowledge across the mobility sector. 

    Now, we’re gearing up for the next edition this fall — and we need your help to make it even better. As Mentoring Programme Manager, you’ll help match mentors and mentees, bring fresh ideas, and make sure participants get the most out of their experience.

  • Love building communities? Support us in cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Rhineland, and London - or bring YMN to a new city! Help organise meetups, field trips, and grow our presence locally. Let’s put your region on the YMN map.

  • The Young Mobility Network regularly takes part in major industry events like BUS2BUS, InnoTrans, and the UITP Summit in Hamburg. To help us keep up with our growing presence, we’re looking for someone to join our event team!

    Currently, Max and Anna are leading our event initiatives — but with more opportunities on the horizon, we’re excited to welcome a third pair of hands to help us dream big and deliver!

    The Young Mobility Network is growing – and so is our community communication! We’re active on LinkedIn, Instagram, send out monthly newsletters, keep our website updated (e.g. events/blogs), and stay connected regionally through WhatsApp groups.

    Currently, all communication efforts are coordinated by Anna – but with more happening every week, we’re looking for someone who’s excited to support or take over parts of our communication.
