The Young Mobility Network (YMN) transformed momentum into real impact: expanding across Europe, activating new regional hubs, launching bold event formats, and deepening partnerships with industry leaders. With hundreds of engaged members, a fast-growing volunteer team, and increasing partner support, YMN has become one of the most dynamic and inclusive communities in the mobility ecosystem.

The Young Mobility Network is a global community empowering the next generation of mobility leaders, while supporting partners in strengthening their industry position and shaping the future of transport.
What started as an idea has grown into a funded organisation with impact — driven by passionate young professionals, supported by strong partners, and rooted in collaboration.
In 2025, our community continued to grow in diversity, reach, and relevance. Across regions and disciplines, YMN connects people who want to actively contribute to solving today’s mobility challenges — not just talk about them.

We support young professionals at major international mobility events with curated programmes designed to create real-world connections and career opportunities. At the UITP Summit in Hamburg, YMN brought young talent, companies, and decision-makers together - turning conversations into lasting connections.

In 2025, we hosted our first YMN conference at HOLM - House of Logistics and Mobility in Frankfurt, bringing together diverse perspectives to work collaboratively on solutions for the mobility sector. The response confirmed a strong demand for spaces where young professionals actively shape the discussion.

We continued our collaboration with TU Berlin, contributing to a master’s module on entrepreneurship in sustainable mobility. By working directly with students, we help bridge academia and industry while fostering innovative thinking from an early stage.

YMN was present at multiple industry events throughout the year, ensuring that young professional perspectives are represented where decisions are discussed and shaped.

In 2025, we successfully launched our YMN Mentoring Programme, connecting experienced mobility professionals with young talents across the network. With 15 mentor–mentee pairs, the programme provided hands-on guidance, career insights, and meaningful exchange.
Building on this strong foundation, the mentoring programme is ready to scale in 2026, expanding its reach and impact as part of our commitment to long-term talent development in the mobility sector.
